The New Combination Of Intellect And Sex Appeal

Most of us can conjure up the so called stereotypical portrait of those who are considered to be of great intelligence and process mind activities more than physical ones. For decades being smart was often equated with being ‘nerdy’ or ‘geeky.’ Finally, intelligent individuals are being recognized for their ability to be more than just computer or math geniuses. They can also be really quite sexy and physically appealing.

This intellectual revolution has created quite a stir and has helped some people evaluate their own contribution to typical stereotypes. Great minds with skinny bodies are working on filling out while big minds with larger bodies are trying to lose weight fast. The introduction of smart workouts has accelerated the non-athlete’s ability for lean muscle growth. Even the idea of men waxing in gyms and spas is perfectly acceptable for gaining ground.

Of course, this new versatile requirement was not brought about by some sudden moment of tossed away notions. The media has been replacing the characters of intellect over the past few years. They have developed their genius minds right into genius bodies. In an attempt to recreate the public’s perception of intelligence, the media has created the anti stereotype for intellectual individuals. The public took to this notion without hesitation.

There is a little concern among those who have been categorized either by profession or personal experiences as the intellect of the group. While those who were once overlooked are now finding that they receive more attention, there is now a new expectation that has developed and it threatens to create a secondary stereotype.

The Law Of Attraction And You

Some people seem to have luck in everything they undertake, while others are haunted by bad luck and fail all the time. After a long series of unfortunate events, both personally and professionally, Rhonda Byrne, author of the famous book ‘The Secret’, claims to have discovered what distinguishes the lucky ones from those who are less fortunate. It’s all about the way in which people apply the law of attraction.

It seems that the law of attraction works for perfectly for millions of people around the world, who can talk you for hours about miraculous changes that took place in their lives. Most of them were able to solve problems, to find love and to heal themselves. The secret lies probably in the power of autosuggestion.

Let’s find out more about how does the law of attraction work.

Every thought you have is a form of energy that emits a vibration, a signal. This signal attracts the same rate of vibration on the same frequency. Your thoughts are messages to the Universe, becoming a form of energy. This is what we call the law of attraction, one of the most powerful laws of the universe and the basis of creative visualization. In the same way a magnet attracts metal, your mind attracts energy. Unfortunately most people care more about what they don’t have or about what they want to change in their lives, wondering why nothing goes well. The law of attraction ignores the nature of your thoughts. So if your thoughts remain stuck on the fact that you have can’t have a certain thing, your energy will focus on failure and not on success.

Kick starting your self-development

A while ago I found myself booking on to a course on the back of a recommendation of a friend. I had very much considered myself as sorted previously so just thought heading along and checking the reason for the buzz would be good. I had never heard of Chris Howard before and having done a few different courses plus heard the rave reviews the appeal of seeing what he did with self-development was high. To say I was unprepared for what was encountered is an understatement, it was truly amazing. Going deep into our core over three days of intense self-development. Those three days we had, there were about 800 attending, took our journey of self discovery to great depths.

From the outset of day one we drilled into the patterns that each of us had created in our lives, really going deep to the core to find out why we had been the results in our lives. Results that universally everyone was less than happy about. Heading through the second day everyone searched further through their lives for issues and problems they wanted to resolve, getting the joy of aha moments in places, then we started to do something about them. You should know here that we went from 9am until 11pm on the first and second days, so were definitely taking it fairly seriously and getting real depth. On day three we delved deeper into our sought self-development, creating better ability and more resources to get more from ourselves and our futures than we could have attained before. The self-development resources we learned were ones that are able to be used many times over to stay on path to achieving the desired results, resources which can be hugely beneficial to anyone using them.
