How To Develop Self Confidence, A 5 Step Process.

The major question these days is: Are you confident enough to fit in? In so many areas of life human interaction has increased so significantly that each day you meet someone new, someone you’ve never met before. And to make life normal one has to love and take pride in who they are and never for one moment believe that someone else in better than them. Confidence is what it boils down to, the feeling of being worth something and the belief in ones abilities, origin and self. Figuring out ways of how to develop self confidence is the first step towards a new life of freedom as you express yourself to the world who you are and what you represent.

First thing is first, take note of your race; circumstances and origin. What I like about this self acknowledgement is that it gives you an identity that will help find you when you’re lost. Apart from building pride in oneself it gives you a sense of belonging and you will never look at other people and wish you were them. An example is would be a poor person who has accepted who he is shouldn’t feel embarrassed when he’s around rich people, he has nothing to lose but all to benefit.

Every person has a talent or gift, something they’re good at doing, and something that they have achieved. The range of possibilities is endless when you look back to positive moments in your life when you were on top of everyone else. Now when you imagine how it feels to have a sense of achievement you will do it more often and begin to see your confidence improve.

I’ll let you in on a secret. You have the perfect remedy right at your fingertips and it’s your dreams and targets. Instead of just letting them bounce around in your head write them down on a piece of paper and go on with your day to day business. If you achieve a goal then scratch it out of your list. With time the list will become smaller and before you know it you’ll be feeling so energised you won’t know what to do. Crossing out the goals you’ve achieved will give you a sense of achievement that is good for your confidence.

Despite what you might have heard people who look at you straight in the eye have a high self esteem and a lot of confidence. People who also keep their head up and don’t look down are again very confident. So next time you interact try practice this little by little; with time you won’t feel small but big in the presence of others. This is a wonderful source of confidence.

Step number five is basically about accepting that no one is perfect and everything will not always be set according to how you want things. Hence you might feel insecure if, for example, your shirt is wrinkled. Relax and make fun of imperfections without taking them seriously.
