From a very young age we all start to form mental pictures of who we are how and what we will look like when we are older. And at a young age we already find our strengths and well as know what our weaknesses are and slowly this picture will keep developing as we grow. Everyone at some or other time has to spend time improving self esteem.
You create your own self image by the mental pictures you keep forming and other images are based on the kind of interactions you have with other humans and one will also build self image by the type of experiences you have encountered and when combined will account for the way you feel about yourself.
Our immediate surroundings play a big part in determining high or low self esteem and it is import to feel loved and accepted by our friends and piers and the most important factor is that you love yourself as well as accept who you are and what you stand for. When you have high self esteem you will automatically feel on top of the world and you will achieve and accomplish whatever you have set out to do.
On the other hand people with low self esteems are not great achievers and they always feel that the world is their number one enemy. During one’s teen years everyone experiences a low self esteem as teens are trying to figure out where the fit in and everyone has their ups and down so self esteem is not a lifelong problem.
Here is some advice that you can follow up on when you are felling really low and it will definitely lift your self esteem you can go out and find someone that needs assistance and help them out which will make you feel so much better or do something that you really enjoy doing.
Go over all your past achievements and acknowledge your strengths and know that you are the very best. Don’t take other people’s problems personally and if they have been nasty to you just walk away and ignore them. Do not entertain negative people in your company make sure that you are surrounded by people that are positive.
If you want to improve your self esteem and make a positive change you are the only one that can delegate that change and allow other people to voice their opinions. When you experience a hiccup don’t beat up on yourself as nobody is perfect and there is always many people in the world that are seriously worse off than you are.
