More than likely your have heard the term clairvoyance from psychic ads and infomercials. However, do you know that anyone can develop clairvoyance? Everyone has some form of clairvoyance, however not everyone is willing to develop it, since it is much like learning a new skill. It is much like riding a bicycle, with some practice you gain skill and experience.

Here is the basic definition for the term clairvoyance, just in case you have never heard of it: Clairvoyance is a quick intuitive knowledge of just knowing things will happen or knowing things without actually seeing them physically and immediately. Some consider it a psychic ability.

When it comes to things, such as possessions that are negative you will need to rid yourself of these. Having negative items in your home means that you are surrounding yourself with bad vibes and feelings. So, whatever gives off these vibes will have to go. It makes no difference if the item is old clothing that belonged to a relative that has since passed away, or something that belonged to an ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend. You could have a big bonfire and burn whatever items cause you to have bad or negative feelings as this will have a cleansing effect on you.

Meditate quietly for at least 30 minutes daily. Make this your special quiet time. You can be anywhere to create it, inside your home, in the park, sitting in your vehicle, or in the back yard. It matters not where you do it as long as you do it, for instance, walking helps to clear the mind. Life can be hard sometimes, negative thoughts buildup when what you really need is time to relax, breathe and ponder.

Meditation is great for releasing stress as well. You will find it difficult to develop clairvoyance if your mind is cluttered with unnecessary thoughts. You need this time, and all that matters is that you are alone and completely at peace when you are doing it. Combine this time with some deep breathing techniques and you will be completely relaxed afterwards.

When developing your ability you should learn to follow your feelings. It is important to also listen to your own mind, but feelings are going to be what will guide you in the development of your ability. When something just feels right that means that it usually is. It is like when you meet somebody for the very first time and for some reason you simply know that the two of you are going to be able to form a close and lasting friendship. When this happens you need to go with your feeling as you are probably quite right about it.

Trust your hunches. Do not doubt yourself. Having low self-esteem is not going to help either. You must be confident in your thoughts and feelings if you want to be able to develop your clairvoyant abilities. Doubting your instincts will just damage your capabilities. You may be nervous about it, but just go with it.

Trust your feelings and instincts and let them take you where they will. Because of their carefree, no-worries attitudes, children are often more clairvoyant than adults. They express their feelings and do not hold back when they sense something is wrong. Just let go. Try to practice letting go of any negative or rigid personality traits. Your feelings and hunches will guide you.

Remember that you already have the ability to be clairvoyant because you were born with it. There are many scientists around the world that do not deny that human beings are born with ESP, or extra sensory perception, only the ability is repressed. However, with the right tools, our ESP abilities can be reactivated.

However, because people are so distracted by the daily grind it is usually neglected even though developing the ability is not difficult at all.
